How often do you update old blog posts, and do you see any benefits?

In the past I used to update my blog posts every 4-6 months but at the moment, I have not updated for over a year. I have a lot of posts that have not been updated for over 5 years. My blogs need massive updates.

In the past I used to update my blog posts every 4-6 months but at the moment, I have not updated for over a year. I have a lot of posts that have not been updated for over 5 years. My blogs need massive updates.

I would just start on the oldest ones that are still evergreen and update them to meet modern standards. You can then repost the updated blog, too. That will help you have more content to post each time, and you can continue to remain consistent about blogging.
