Marketing a Brand New Blog!

I'd love to give a scenario for everyone to reply to with what you would do:

SCENARIO: You just launched your brand-new blog. It has a few posts, but no one knows about it.

How would you start to market and promote it? What would be your strategy for this task?

The most successful method I have seen is to spam everywhere with those links.I hate it, but those who do reap good results.

I couldn't do the spam thing.

That can hurt you more than it helps you, especially these days!

I agree. Google is aggressively dealing with this issue. It is already bad SEO.
