Do bloggers rely too much on search?

SEO is important because it helps you get a better ranking on search engines.

But search engines aren't the only available tactic of marketing your blog.

There are many other ways including social media, mailing lists, community, paid campaigns, and more.

I think some people dedicate too much effort on SEO and fail to master the other tactics.

With AI on the increase, search engines and SEO might dramatically change in the coming years. It may be positive or negative for bloggers. But I know that mastering other marketing avenues might be what bloggers need to be focusing on right now.

That is because organic traffic when available is easy, inexpensive and lasts for a long time.

I can see that being the case with myself. While I have other tactics in mind, I would say my focus is on doing better with search.
