Our community is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for everyone interested in blogging. Whether you're a seasoned blogger or just starting out, we welcome your contributions to our collective community. To ensure a positive experience for all members, we ask that you read and adhere to the following official community guidelines.
Account and Age
You may have one account and one account only. If multiple members in your household wish to have their own account, each of you must have a different email address. You must be at least 13 years of age or older to be a member of this community. There is no exception to the age policy. If found violating the age policy, you will be banned for life without the ability to appeal. You may not impersonate another person or entity in any form in this community.Respect and Courtesy
We ask that all members respect each other in the community. We ask that you be courteous to one another at all times. Avoid using profanity or personal attacks directed at members, non-members, and entities outside of the Blogging Collective Community. While constructive criticism and feedback are often warranted, being outright negative or disrespectful is not welcome in this community. This is a hate-free environment. Racism, discrimination, and hateful attitudes are not welcome under any circumstance. Insulting profanity and adult-rated content is forbidden in this community.Content and Conduct
Please ensure that your content relates to the topic to which you’re posting it. Off-topic content is only allowed within the off-topic section. Promoting your blog or other blog-related websites (sometimes commercial in nature) is appropriate in some areas, such as your signature and the marketplace sections. However, spam and unrelated commercial advertising are not appropriate in this community. As a member of this community, you must comply with the laws of your area and not be active in committing criminal offenses. Sex offenders of any kind are not allowed in this community.Privacy and Safety
We respect your right to privacy. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information. We require that you respect the privacy of other members and entities, whether they’re in this community or not on this community. You are not permitted to share private information without consent. Harassment, bullying, and threatening behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited. Please report violations as you see them, even if you’re unsure if they’re a violation. Our community staff members will investigate all reports of violations to determine if actions need to be taken or not. If you see something, say something.Intellectual Property
You are strictly prohibited from violating any form of copyright, trademark, or trade secret. You must credit and cite the original source of any content you use that belongs to someone else. If you have not been given permission to repost or transmit their content/media, you’re not allowed to submit it on Blogging Collective. Plagiarism of any kind is strictly prohibited.Moderation Team
Our Community Moderation Team has the full discretion to take action against violations as they see fit. Actions may include coaching (via Private Message), content locking, suspension of services and features, restrictions, temporary account suspension, and even permanent account bans. For most actions, you’ll be able to appeal the action taken if you feel it was unfair. However, you will not get the right to appeal for more severe violations.Member Expectations
Remember, this community is called Blogging Collective. The word “Collective” means people doing things as a group. We want members of this community who are in it to help others with their blogging needs. We expect certain things from you. We want you to share and seek knowledge around the blogging topics. We want you to collaborate or consider collaborating at some point. Networking is a significant benefit to this community. We hope everyone continuously improves their blogging experience and knowledge.
